Emily Allsion

Emily Allison loves junk.  You may call it garbage, but in Emily’s hands, those tin cans become finely beaten silver, bits of glass turn into enamel mosaics.  Throwing her offbeat sense of humor into these “shake and bake” creations, she serves up sculptures and collages that are beautiful and yet, quietly humorous.

Kenny Hays

Kenny Hays has always been a railroad man, which means lots of down time waiting for that next train.  That’s when he hits the tracks and picks up stuff.  Lots of stuff!  His found-object mobiles hang from Memphis overpasses and his lone pipe and pliers sax-player is soon joined by an entire scrap-metal orchestra.  You’ll be delighted with his repertoire!

Mark Lammie

Mark Lammie has shown his unique sculptures in his hometown of Toledo as well as San Diego and Boston. 

“Patterns come naturally to me…the materials I use, including paint, wood, tin cans, found junk, and dirt, have all been discovered along my art making road…Every artwork I create is a new act of discovery as well as a repeat of a previous act, just like life.”

Cafe Palladio is now offering a great answer to those nights that leave you wondering, "What's for dinner?" Locally owned, The Uptown Grocer is now selling pre-made frozen meals at Cafe Palladio. These fine cuisine frozen dinners - including roasted tomato basil soup and chicken tetrazzini - will satisfy any appetite, and can be picked up during regular hours at Palladio, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
